We are each called to show forth God’s glory in all that we do and in the gifts we have: “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” Philippians 2:13
There’s a purpose for which we are called: to raise the banner of God and to evangelise to all nations.
As a Christian I have sought diligently for my purpose and my part to play towards the mission of the gospel of Jesus Christ and I have found this purpose in evangelising through music. It is the language of Peace, the language of love, the language of forgiveness. It is the universal communication through which we are helped to grasp and hold on to our hope that all things in deed work together for the good of those who love God and are called to his purpose.
As the choir begins on this Journey of faith, it is our hope to leverage on our personal experience of who God is to encourage all believers, and to give peace to the trouble hearted. To reveal God’s welcoming hands of forgiveness and love to all people.
I encourage all who identify with the choirs mission to join us in our efforts to spread the gospel of our Lord in the best way we know how and to show forth his glory to all men.
Jubilare: literally translated as "shout for joy" had its first official performance on the 28th February, 2021 when it sung at the celebration of the Birthday of Lady Ameshika the lady Pastor of ICGC Sunny Coast Hills Assembly.
It was the first time the group stood as a choir to perform: under the direction of Eben Gbebley. It was by all standards a very challenging performance which saw the participating the chairman of the choir and the president's two children both under the age of 9 roped in whithout a choice.
Jubilare Chorale marked its first milestone with its debut performance on the 28th of February 2020, from then on, the group as a whole has continued to pursue the achievement of its mission which is to continuously grow the Christian faith and evangelize through gospel music
Through our journey, we have always drawn inspiration from Jesus’s request in Mark 16:15-16:
“And he said to them, Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation”
The Choir strives to position itself as an avenue to enable individuals express and grow their Christian faith through gospel music and encourage the faith of others through same
We continue to work towards building this choir, and proclaiming Gods goodness through evangelism
We give our great appreciation to our partners who support us in various ways and encourage all with similar passions to join us in our course
Charity is Love. We are inspired by God’s love and generosity towards humanity, and we are moved to love and be generous in response.
While we spread this love of Christ through our music, we also believe that it is our acts of charity (almsgiving) that are most able to touch the hearts of those who don’t know Christ.
